FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Mons, Belgium, April 10, 2026 – On-Hertz, developer of Artisto, the audio mixer with benefits, today announced the integration of TVU MediaMesh as a new back-end option for Artisto. The partnership enables Artisto’s full suite of capabilities, including mixing, routing, DSP, playout, AoIP contribution, and monitoring, inside distributed MediaMesh workflows.

By integrating the TVU Shared Memory SDK alongside it existing Multi Audio Devices and native ST2110 back-ends, Artisto now empowers media and broadcast professionals to blend and interconnect MediaMesh-based and traditional IP audio workflows in one coherent platform.
Built on shared memory principles, TVU MediaMesh redefines live production by allowing real-time, low-latency exchange of video and audio data across virtualized or cloud-based nodes. By integrating directly with MediaMesh, Artisto brings broadcast-grade audio processing and monitoring into this next-generation ecosystem, simplifying complex hybrid workflows and accelerating the shift to shared memory–based production architectures.
Thanks to Artisto’s existing native SIP implementation, these cloud audio workflows can also be integrated directly within existing intercom infrastructures. This ensures seamless communication and connectivity between on-prem teams and cloud-based operations, extending the benefits of shared memory and interoperability into day-to-day production environments.
“Integrating TVU MediaMesh with Artisto lets broadcasters take audio from any MediaMesh video feed and instantly route, mix, process or monitor it in the cloud. The result is a simple way to add broadcast-grade audio control to globally distributed video workflows without dedicated hardware or complex signal routing,” said John Westcoat, Senior Director, Business Development at TVU Networks.
As TVU MediaMesh supports the MXL (Media eXchange Layer) open standard backed by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the North American Broadcasters Association (NABA), and the Linux Foundation, adding it as a back-end in Artisto makes Artisto workflows interoperable with MXL-based environments. This integration reflects On-Hertz’s alignment with the key principles behind MXL and its commitment to open, shared memory–driven media architectures shaping the future of live production.
“Our customers want the freedom to choose the best tools for every part of their production workflow, but integration is often the hardest part,” said Benjamin Lardinoit, CEO & Co-Founder of On-Hertz. “By integrating Artisto with TVU MediaMesh, we’re removing that barrier. Broadcasters can now add professional audio mixing and processing directly into their cloud environments, knowing that interoperability is built in. It’s about enabling truly flexible, collaborative, and production-ready cloud workflows.
The integration will debut at NAB Show 2026, with a demonstration at the TVU Networks (W1717) booth.
